Kirkland Lake Goldminers Head Coach & GM Kyle Smart is happy to announce, Alex McDonald is returning to the Miners lineup this season.
The 5’11” 180lb center from Englehart, had a solid rookie junior season, scoring 11 times and adding 15 assists. As the year progressed Alex gradually took on a more important role, becoming one of Coach Smart’s trusted members in key situations.
Coach Smart says,”A-Mac improved greatly last season, probably our most improved player, from start to finish. We look for Alex to take another step this season, we’re counting on him to be a real leader, a menace on the PK, and just a hard guy to play against.”
