Kirkland Lake Goldminers Head Coach & GM Kyle Smart continues his roster building, solidifying the goaltender position, inking ’04 born John Lloyd.
The 6’3”, 180lb North York native joins the Goldminers after spending last season with King Heights Prep U18. Coach Smart says, “John is a big confident goaltender, who is very calm and cool in the net.” Coach Smart ads, “we had John play for our summer team at the Toronto Showcase, he was very impressive, giving us a chance to win, in his 2 games, which we did.”
We feel John and recently signed Braydon Garnhart, will team up and give us a very solid duo for the upcoming season.
