Kirkland Lake GoldMiners Head Coach & General Manager Trevor Ritchie continues to fine tune his roster ahead of Sunday’s season opener, adding ’02 born winger James Passafiume.
The 5’11” 170 lb Passafiume was with the Mississauga Reps AAA Midgets last season, the strong skating, right shooting winger “does all the little things right, he’s a 200 foot player” according to Coach Ritchie.
The Oakvile native gained valuable experience attending the Oshawa Generals Orientation camp. Coach Ritchie adds ” James is a well rounded player who will definitely contribute offensively, as he gets adjusted to the junior game.”
James Passafiume and the GoldMiners host Powassan Voodoos, Sunday at 4pm to open the 2019-20 NOJHL campaign.
