Kirkland Lake GoldMiners Head Coach & GM Trevor Ritchie is happy to announce that Nick Wagner will be back in GoldMiners colors this season. The 2000 born, 5’11”, 180 lb versatile forward from Langley, BC will be a welcome addition to our group of forwards.
Last season, in very limited duty, Nick appeared in 18 games and chipped in with 3 goals and an assist. Nick shone in his limited opportunities to play in an offensive role, and Coach Ritchie says ” all our coaches smiled when they heard the news, Nick will be given every opportunity in an expanded role, to prove himself.” Wagner says,” all I want is a fair shot, I’ll take it from there!”
“Lil Wags” as he was dubbed last year and the GoldMiners open the regular season, at home, Sunday at 4, when the Powassan Voodoos visit the KL Community Complex.
