NOJHL names its Eastlink TV 3 Stars of the Week

SUDBURY, Ont. – The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League announced Monday that forwards Ryan Glazer (Hearst Lumberjacks), Eric de Repentigny (Kirkland Lake Gold Miners) and Seth Ferguson (Soo Eagles) have been named its Eastlink TV 3 Stars of the Week for the period ending Nov. 28.

RYAN GLAZER, (F) HEARST LUMBERJACKS – Since being acquired from the Amherst Ramblers (MHL) last month, Glazer has made an immediate impact with Hearst.

This included racking up six goals and assisting on two others for an eight-point run in a trio of Lumberjacks victories in the time frame.

The 20-year-old from Saint-Lazare, Que., began by scoring once and setting up one more in a triumph over Cochrane Thursday. Glazer then tacked on two additional tallies, including the game-winner, in a win over French River then capped off his week with a hat trick in an important home ice decision vs. Timmins.

Riding a four-game point streak, Glazer has scored seven times and assisted on three more in that span.

ERIC DE REPENTIGNY, (F) KIRKLAND LAKE GOLD MINERS – In his club’s lone contest for the week, it saw the 20-year-old Ottawa native record a career single-game-high four points in a come from behind home win over Powassan Saturday.

De Repentigny tallied twice, featuring a shorthanded marker, and doled out a pair of assists, including one on the game-winner, to post his multi-point effort in the triumph.

Finding his scoring touch in his past two outings, the Gold Miners forward etched him name on the game sheet on six occasions in that span, including registering a trio of tallies.

His efforts there nearly doubled his overall totals to 13 points on the campaign with four goals and nine helpers.

SETH FERGUSON, (F) SOO EAGLES – Hailing from Brighton, Mich., the 18-year-old Ferguson picked up five points in a road of road victories for the Eagles last week.

He started with two goals and an assist in a triumph at Espanola Friday.

One night later at Elliot Lake, Feguson provided a pair of third period helpers, featuring one on the game-winner late, as the Michigan Soo won again.

Closing in on a point-per-game pace offensively for the Eagles, he boasts 17 in his first 19 outings on the campaign, including seven tallies.
