Kirkland Lake Goldminers Coach & GM Kyle Smart is happy to announce the club has re-signed a trio of veterans, led by defencemen Sam Demauro & Michael Sulmona, along with veteran centerman Christian Genova. All three are entering their final season of junior hockey.
Coach Smart says, “we’re looking at Sam & Michael to be anchors on the back end for us, leading the defence group, while Genova is just a warrior, does all the little things right, sacrifices his body, a leader on the ice and in the room.”
Coach Smart says more signings are coming, both returnees and newcomers, and we’re working on a couple of trades, trying to improve the group.
