The Kirkland Lake Goldminers have added some defensive depth and firmed up the future acquiring Nikolas Joniec from the Brockville Tikis of the EOJHL.
Coach & GM Kyle Smart says,”adding Nik improves our depth immediately, and the hope is that ’04 Nik and ’05 Cam Allen will be pillars of our defense group next season.”
Joniec, a 5’10” 165 lb, left shooting dman, appeared in 17 games for Brockville last season, notching a goal and a couple of helpers.
