NOJHL names its Eastlink TV 3 Stars of the Week

SUDBURY, Ont. – The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League (NOJHL) announced Monday that goaltender Graydon Mole (Kirkland Lake Gold Miners), along with forwards Harry Clark (Timmins Rock) and Kelsey Ouellet (Soo Thunderbirds) have been named its Eastlink TV 3 Stars of the Week for the period ending November 19.

GRAYDON MOLE, (G) KIRKLAND LAKE GOLD MINERS:
Collecting his first two NOJHL victories last week, the recently acquired Mole was stellar in triumphs versus Iroquois Falls and Hearst.

The Falmouth, N.S., product, who just turned 18 earlier this month, registered a crisp .953 save percentage in the pair of wins, including a 57-stop performance against the Lumberjacks.

Having helped Kirkland Lake collect five of six points in his initial three league appearances, Mole sports a 2-0-1-0 record early in his Gold Miners’ tenure with a 2.64 goals-against average and a sharp save mark of .930.

HARRY CLARK, (F) TIMMINS ROCK:
Clark earned the laurels in part off a big night offensively in Iroquois Falls Saturday.

The 20-year-old from Timmins notched a league season-best five goals in a road win over the Storm to go along with setting up the game-winner the night before at home against Iroquois Falls.

Clark currently sits second in NOJHL scoring with 48 points through 25 outings on 15 tallies and a league-high 33 assists. He has also contributed 16 multi-point efforts so far on the campaign, in which the Rock have gone 13-1-2-0 in that span.

KELSEY OUELLET, (F) SOO THUNDERBIRDS: Returning to the Sault Ste. Marie line-up after a lengthy absence, Ouellet tallied in each of his club’s games last week as part of a two home-ice victories.

The 20-year-old from Kapuskasing, Ont., scored for the first time since back on opening night (September 9) and dished out two assists in a victory over the Soo Eagles Friday, then notched another marker Sunday to help send the T-Birds on their way to a triumph against Espanola.

Through his first 54 games with the Thunderbirds, Ouellet sits just three points shy of 50 in his NOJHL career, currently having 19 tallies and 28 helpers to his credit. The Soo is also 11-0-0-2 in match-ups in which he provided multi-point performances.
