NOJHL announces forfeited game

SUDBURY, Ont. – The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League announced Saturday that NOJHL game No. 313 played on Friday, Feb. 24, between the Kirkland Lake Gold Miners and Cochrane Crunch, has been forfeited by Kirkland Lake due to the use of an ineligible player.

The Gold Miners had originally won the contest 5-4, but now forfeit those two points for dressing a player that was inadvertently omitted from the official line-up form and game sheet.

The game will now in turn be credited as a victory for the Crunch.

All of the statistics for players on both sides from this contest will count however.
