Goldminers Coach & GM Kyle Smart has added some more local flavor to the roster, signing 17 year-old Nolan Ouellette for the coming season.
The ’05 born forward was an AP with the club last season, getting into three games, while also toiling with the New Liskeard Cubs U18 AAA, of the Great North Midget League. The 5’10” 175 lb Ouellette notched 16 points in 25 games with the Cubs last season.
Coach Smart says, “we liked what we saw of Nolan last season in limited duty, he gets up and down the ice, he has good skills and is very coachable, we’re excited to add this young man to our lineup.”
