The Kirkland Lake Gold Miners are very pleased to announce that they have received a commitment for the upcoming season from power forward Jamey Lauzon. Jamey who had been acquired by the Gold Miners part way through last season from Iroquois Falls, had been at the Baie-Comeau Drakkar QMJHL camp where he had a very successful showing. The 6’ 2” 195 lb hard hitting forward from Kapuskasing, Ont is expected to be a big asset for the Gold Miners this season with his intense fore-checking and puck pursuit style.
