The GoldMiners Junior A Hockey Club started running auctions of signed hockey memorabilia on their FB page as a means to raise money as with all the Covid restrictions it made it very difficult to do so. With the sudden passing of a young fan and volunteer Reece Fillion last year, they dedicated one auction to her which would help raise money for the scholarship fund at her local Dance Studio. An auction take took place in December 2021 raised just over $2,000.00 for this fund – Steve Cox Gold Miners past President and Auction Coordinator along with Tracy Fillion ( Reece’s father) – Gold Miners Lucas Renzoni and Camille Marcoux present Alison Parle from Rhythm and Motion Dance Studio with their donation to the fund.
