GoldMiners Veteran Assistants Return

New Kirkland Lake GoldMiners Head Coach & General Manager Trevor Ritchie is thrilled to announce veteran assistant coaches Tom Sinclair & Jed Allick will be back behind the bench, with added responsibilities this season. Goaltender Coach Bryan Bertoncello’s  return is pending, a possible work relocation may be in the cards.

Ritchie says,” Coach Tom Sinclair has a treasure trove of knowledge I’d like to tap into, his vast experience as both a Head Coach and years as an assistant, makes him a valuable resource.”

As for Jed Allick, Ritchie says, ” Jed also brings a ton of experience to the rink as both a Head Coach & as an assistant.” Ritchie has “plans to use Jed’s creativity, as Jed will probably run our powerplay and offensive zone faceoff plans.”

Ritchie says “Coach Sinclair will once again be in charge of our D group, as he has done in the past”.

Ritchie says, “I’m excited to work with Tom & Jed, we seem to be on the same page, as far as style of play goes.”  Sinclair and Allick are re-energized and enthused with the added responsibilities given, by head Coach Ritchie.

Training camp details and our exhibition schedule, should be released early next week.
