KL GoldMiners Head Coach & GM Ryan Wood is thrilled to announce that John Serafin, a 6’5″, 190 lb defenseman from St. Louis, has signed on for 2017-18. The 18 yr old right-handed shooting defenseman played in the Tier 1 EHL last season for the St. Louis AAA Blues and in the US High School League for Christian Brothers College High.
A self described “shutdown defenseman, who’s not afraid to throw my body around.”
Coach Ryan Wood says, ” this is a big, strong, defense first player.” Coach Wood envisions John being, ” one of our main shutdown guys.”
John is pretty pumped to get started saying ” I can’t wait to get to work with Coach Wood and his staff, I believe they know how to develop players for the next level.”
