This weekend will be another big one for the GoldMiners, as they host Iroquois Falls Friday night and the high flying Cochrane Crunch Saturday at the Joe Mavrinac Community Complex, 7:30 both nights.

The Eskis come to town with 33 points on the year, 5th in the East, trailing the Miners by 17 points in the standings. The Eskis are led offensively by Shadow Reuben, 5th in league scoring with 59 pts and Dillan Bruce 13th with 53.
Saturday night, Ryan Leonard brings his high flying Cochrane Crunch, who just had their 10 game winning streak snapped, to town. The Crunch sit 2nd in league standings and the East with 73 points, good for an Honourable Mention nationally. They are led by NOJHL scoring leader Braeden Cross, 36-40=76pts and Brandon McReynolds with 59 pts.
The GoldMiners, winners of 5 of their last 6, hope to keep rolling, getting solid goaltending from both Ridge Gerads and Allan Menary, offensively, leading the way, are Chevy Ford, 6th in league scoring with 30 goals & 58 pts, Tyler Fyfe has 52 pts, while Alex Storjahann has logged 49 pts in 38 games and newest Miner, Gunnar Wegleitner has been on fire since joining the club, adding 14 pts including 11 goals in just 7 games!
