Alex Storjohann picked up another for the home side at even strength to put them up 3-1 after 40 minutes.
Kirkland Lake then put the game away in the third as they tacked on four more markers to win going away.
Mizuik’ added another to start the outburst before Tyler Fyfe scored twice, including once on the power play, to put the hosts up by five.
Austin Anselmo then finished things off at 18:48 while the Gold Miners were on a late extra man opportunity.
Kevin Ford dished out three assists for the winners to aid their offensive cause.
