The Kirkland Lake Gold Miners Junior A Hockey Club will continue their tradition of honouring Championship Hockey programs from the past when they partner with Northern College Alumni on Saturday, December 4th and pay tribute to the 1970-71 Northern College Huskies who captured the Ontario Collegiate Athletic Association Championship. They will be wearing replica jerseys like the ones the Huskies wore, when they line up against the Timmins Rock for a 7 pm game.
The are many of activities planned around the event – free Northern College giveaways – jersey auctions – there will also be a Huskies display in the lobby and much more.
Northern College Huskies Alumni will be admitted free of charge.
