The Kirkland Lake GoldMiners are at home for a pair of games this weekend, as the expansion French River Rapids make their first visit to the Joe Mavrinac Community Complex. The winless Rapids visit tonight at 7:30, for McDonald’s White-Out Night, as the 1st 400 fans wearing white, will receive a coupon for a free ice cream from McDonald’s in Kirkland Lake.
Saturday night the Rayside Balfour Canadians make their 1st visit to the Joe. The former Sudbury Nickel Barons franchise, features Haileybury’s Jesse Morin in net, with former New Liskeard Cubs, Cayse Ton & Gab Rheault in the lineup.
