The Kirkland Lake GoldMiners are pleased to announce the signing of big, 6’3” 210lb, ’98 born Michael Fradette. The Victoria, BC native joins us from Southern Ontario’s Hill Academy.
Michael describes himself as ” a dedicated student- athlete who thrives for improvement every day. I am driven to reach my goals of playing NCAA Division 1 hockey. ”
Michael is a big defenseman who sees the ice well, is a strong skater, with a big shot. Being physical is a big part of his game. He blocks shots and protects the net to support his team to win every game. He is a leader both on and off the ice and pushes both myself and teammates to be the best they can be.
Coach Lafleur looks forward to the physical presence and defensive responsibility Michael brings.
” I’m looking at making a big impact at this level to propel myself to the next level.”
