The Kirkland Lake Gold Miners are proud to announce they have signed 97 born forward, Arthur Miller of Regina Sask. The 5’9″ 180lbs forward, started this season with the Acadie-Bathurst Titan of the QMJHL.
Last season with the Regina Pat Canadians midgets he had 54 pts, including 31 goals in 43 games. Then at the Telus Cup, Arthur logged 14 pts in 7 games, leading his team to the Bronze medal. Coach Lafleur says offense is what Arthur brings to the rink nightly. He will join the lineup this weekend in Iroquois Falls and Cochrane, wearing #18.
The GoldMiners also added blueliner Dylan Holt last week, Dylan joins us from Andover High in Minnesota, where he was a standout. Always a high point getter on the blueline, Dylan will add some juice to our transition game and gives the coaching staff another weapon on the powerplay. Dylan wears #27 and joined us just in time for the three game homestand last week, with a week of practice with his new mates under his belt, Dylan is going to be fun to watch for the Miners Nation!
