He’s back! Coach & GM Ryan Wood is thrilled to announce we have re-acquired Sam Ellwood, from the Markham Royals of the OJHL.
The 6’2″ 190 forward scored 4 times and had 8 pts in 14 games in Markham. Last season, Sam, an assistant Captain, logged 16 goals with 15 assists, appearing in all 56 games, plus playoffs.
The durable Ellwood became one of the league’s premier penalty killers. Coach Wood says, “with Sam’s Jr hockey experience , leadership qualities and on-ice skills, this is a huge addition, at this time of year.”
Ellwood is hoping to join the club in time for Friday’s roadie in Noelville vs French River Rapids.
