Fundraising Campaign. “We have a great mix of returning sponsors as well as some new companies
jumping on board” Jones says. He goes on to say “we have put together a Corporate Package but we
can also tailor a package to meet potential sponsors needs and budget.”

We’ve also begun forming partnerships with the Legion Branch 87, Community Living and we have
plans to get our players more involved in the community. Jerry Brousseau and Dennis Perrault will be
working with local groups and business and coordinating players involvement in community projects.

Tom Sinclair, Special Advisor to Executive is extremely happy with the positive meetings the club has
had with Town of Kirkland Lake staff and Council. Sinclair says “it is great to see the team Executive
and the Town on the same page…this will only make it a lot easier moving forward”.

With the League Annual General Meeting and Scheduling Meeting behind him, Derek Callahan, VP of
Hockey Operations, is busy working in tandem with Coach & GM Ryan Wood, constructing a
competitive roster. Callahan adds “we have begun to make some positive strides in the area of
thinning out and building our club”.

Billeting Coordinators Kim Roy and Carla Vine have secured about half of the homes required to
house the players. If you are interested in billeting a player you can contact them.

“Our goal is to make it fun to come to the rink again and try and develop a family atmosphere” says
Game Day Coordinator Rick Woodcock.

that “the Executive and Board have been working very hard since the AGM and still have a lot to do
before September but with an early start in a number of areas we will be ready…We have a solid group
