The Kirkland Lake Gold Miners are please to announce that Kirkland Lake Foodland has partnered with the club to sponsor the first home playoff game on Friday Mar 6th at the Joe Mavrinac Community Complex, in support of the Kirkland Lake Food Bank. Foodland Owners, Josh and Brianna Moore and staff will kick things off Sat Feb 29th at the Foodland location. With the donation of a non perishable food item or cash donation, you will receive a free ticket to the Gold Miners first home playoff game on Friday Mar 6th at 7:30 pm. The promotion will run all week until Friday game time. Gold Miner players will be on hand Saturday from 1-4 pm to help kick off the promotion.
Gold Miners VP of Business operations Mike Jones says that the club is very excited about this promotion, “when Foodland contacted us to say that they would like to do a community event in support of the Kirkland Lake Food Bank and would like to work with the Gold Miners to promote this event, how can you say no?” Our club’s philosophy has always been about being a good community partner and supporting events where we can and to get involved to support a great cause like the Food Bank it is a winner for everyone involved.
Foodland will be our game sponsor that night and will also be handing out cow bells to the fans at the game along with a draw for a chance to win a $250 online gift card for nhlshop.ca along with $10.00 promo cards handed out to the first 100 people through the door.
