Kirkland Lake GoldMiners Head Coach & GM Ryan Wood continues to build his defence group, adding 18 yr old Brennan Lea to the roster.
The 5’10” 180 lb right shooting defenseman from Scugog, Ontario, joins us from The Hill Academy Prep School in Vaughn, Ont.
The Hill Academy was the lone Canadian team in the ECEL U18 , East Coast Elite League, and took part in the CSSHL (Canadian school league) Eastern Showcase.
Coach Wood says,”Brennan is a highly regarded young defenseman, with good offensive upside.”
Wood adds, “Brennan has a real good feel for jumping into the rush,” that should aid the clubs’ transition game.
