Kirkland Lake GoldMiners Coach and General Manager Trevor Ritchie has added another forward to the group, trading for 17 yr old Eric de Repentigny, who joins us from the Winchester Hawks of the CCHL 2, where in limited duty as a rookie, he added 12 points in 43 games.
The 5’10” right shot centerman, from Cumberland, Ont, played for former KL’er Marc Franche, with the Cumberland Grads Midgets. Both Franche and Coach Ritchie say, “Eric has huge upside, has a nose for the net and a very high hockey IQ.”
Coach Ritchie is anxious to see what Eric can do in an expanded role.
