Allison & Ford Bolster the Lineup

Late last week Coach & GM Ryan Wood acquired 19 year old defenseman Parker Allison. the left shooting 6’1″ 195 Fairbanks, Alaska native joins us in a trade from the Minnesota Iron Rangers of the SIJHL, Parker also appeared with the Drayton Valley Thunder, of the Alberta Jr Hockey League earlier this season. A product of the Dallas Stars Elite Program, in Texas, Parker is a welcomed addition to our blueline group.  Coach Ryan Wood says,” Parker jumped right in on the 3 game roadie, still learning names, but played like he’d been here awhile.”

He’s back! Miners Nation, Kevin ‘Chevy’ Ford is back in town! Chevy finished 7th in league scoring last season with 70 pts in 56 games, including a team leading 36 goals. Chevy spent time with the Minnesota Wilderness of the NAHL, alongside netminder Cade McEwen this season. Coach Wood speaks for everyone when he says, “we are ecstatic to have Chevy back, he was one of the league’s best players a year ago, and we expect nothing less, moving forward.”
