2 Home Games & a Party This Weekend

The GoldMiners are getting ready for another busy weekend of NOJHL action and we are throwing a Party for you on Sunday at Kinross Park.

First the games, Friday night, the Elliot Lake Wildcats come to town for a 7:30 start at the Joe. The Wildcats enter the weekend tied for 3rd out West, having split their first 6 games. Offensively, the Wildcats are led by Curtis Rawn, currently tied for 3rd in league scoring, with Ashton Amaya. Justin Richer & Matt Kostiw have split the netminding duties.

Saturday night the GoldMiners entertain eastern rivals the Cochrane Crunch.  Right now the Crunch with 4 wins and an overtime loss, lead the Miners by 1 pt in the Eastern standings. The Crunch are led by Braeden Cross, with 6 goals & 6 assists, tied with Chevy Ford for the league lead. Rory Milne, with 3 goals & 5 assists through 5 games, is tied for 3rd in league scoring with Ashton Amaya. Leighton Williams has made 4 starts in the Crunch net, with a 2.56 goals against average.

Sunday, the GoldMiners are throwing a Party & BBQ at Kinross Park, and you are invited. Join us between 1-3 for all kinds of fun!

We’ve got music, with Kate Nielson & Eric Visbal, Amelia Fournel & Brooklyn O’Reilly and Chase Kasner, plus Carole Crispin & James Taylor will be on hand.

We’ve got Minnow Races…Facepainting…Inflatables…Games.

We’ve got a HotDog & Hamburger BBQ, proceeds to KL Minor Hockey Association.

The Goldminers players will be out in force for pictures, autographs & of course to partake in the fun.
